Job Title: Accountant

Salary:150,000 Naira Monthly

Location:Ago Palace Way, Lagos

– Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.

– Maintain and update financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

– Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

– Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

– Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

– Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

– Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial management.

– Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.

– Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

– A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

– Knowledge of hospitality industry accounting practices is a plus.
