Job Description:
*FMR AGENCY* – Future Moves Recruitment Agency Limited is seeking a skilled Backend to join our client team in a leading financial institution dedicated to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs to support our financial services platform.
– Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.
– Implement security measures and data protection protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of sensitive financial information.
– Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
– Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
– Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of our platform.
– Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve system reliability.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
– Proven experience as a Backend Developer, ideally within the financial services industry.
– Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
– Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.
– Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design and implementation.
– Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
– Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in application development.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or payment processing solutions.
– Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
– Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
– Certification in relevant technologies or cloud platforms.
