Job Summary
We are looking to hire Legal Assistants to work at its Lagos office under the supervision of a Licensed Texas Attorney.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team in Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analyze data.
Prepare and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.
Manage case files, track deadlines, and coordinate with clients and experts.
Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
File legal documents with Texas courts and agencies (electronically).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
Provide exceptional client service and support via phone, email, and video conferencing.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
LL.B. with a minimum of second class upper (2.1) GPA from a recognized Institution or J.D. from a Foreign law school with a 3.0 GPA.
Professional certification or Advanced degree will be an added advantage.
Valid license to practice law in Nigeria with minimum of 2 years post call.
Proficiency in English and strong legal writing skills.

Work under the direct supervision of a Texas Attorney
Maintain confidentiality and attorney-client privileges
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and experts across different time zones
Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Adhere to Texas laws, rules, and procedures.
Proficiency in video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Skype).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security.
