Project Summary
The Investing in Innovations program is a 2-year Pan-African initiative to scale data-driven innovations in health product distribution through a new value-creation network that co-deploys highly risk-tolerant funding, access to markets, and development support. Estimating the impact of innovations in improving health outcomes is a core aspect of this endeavor as evidence-based insights are required to determine the effectiveness of interventions and improve program design. We are seeking to engage a specialist with expertise in impact estimation for the program.
Role Summary
The Digital Healthcare Impact Assessment Specialist will assess and quantify the impact of supported innovations in the first phase of the program over the 2-year duration and design an estimation framework for phase 2.
– Relevant academic degree in fields such as Public Health, Health Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline;
– Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing impact assessment frameworks preferably within the healthcare sector or supply chain space with previous achievements in successful projects;
– Deep knowledge of health systems, including healthcare delivery, policies, and the extensive ecosystem in which health tech innovations operate;
– Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and competence in developing data collection tools;
– Proficiency in different evaluation methodologies.
