Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Executive with expertise in the telecom industry to join our dynamic team. The Legal Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal advice across various facets of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conducting legal research and analysis related to telecom laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
– Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents pertaining to telecom services, partnerships, and transactions.
– Advising on regulatory matters and ensuring adherence to licensing, spectrum allocation, data privacy, and consumer protection laws.
– Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including executives and operational teams, to provide timely and effective legal guidance.
– Handling dispute resolution, litigation management, and external counsel coordination when necessary.
– Monitoring industry developments and updating management on legal implications and risks.
– Contributing to corporate governance initiatives and ensuring legal compliance across the organization.
Qualifications:
– LLB or LLM or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
– Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
– Minimum of [3] years of experience practicing law in the telecom industry or related field.
– Deep understanding of telecom regulatory frameworks, including FCC regulations or equivalent in other jurisdictions.
– Proven track record in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide clear recommendations.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience working in-house within a telecom company or with telecom clients in a law firm.
– Familiarity with international telecom regulations and standards.
