Job Description:
*FMR AGENCY* – Future Moves Recruitment Agency Limited is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic client team and ensure the quality and reliability of financial applications.
Job Responsibilities:
– Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
– Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
– Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
– Utilize testing frameworks and tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) to automate test cases and enhance testing efficiency.
– Analyze test results, document defects, and track their resolution in collaboration with development teams.
– Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in software quality assurance within the financial industry.
– Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of software deliverables.
– Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure QA integration within the development process.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
– Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, ideally within the financial services industry.
– Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
– Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
– Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
– Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation purposes.
– Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or payment processing solutions.
– Knowledge of security testing and regulatory compliance in the financial industry.
– Familiarity with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, etc.).
– Certification in relevant quality assurance methodologies or tools (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.).
