About the Client: With over two decades of experience, our client is one of the largest and most successful logistics companies in Nigeria. Their clients include the majority of the blue chips, multinationals, and large-size organizations in Nigeria.
A) Senior Accountant (8+ years’ experience)
•Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
•Prepare financial statements and reports.
•Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
•Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
•Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
•Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
•Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
B) Credit Control Officer (6+ years’ experience)
•Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
•Set and manage credit limits for customers.
•Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments.
•Contact customers to arrange payment of overdue accounts.
•Negotiate payment plans with customers.
•Maintain accurate records of credit and collection activities.
•Prepare reports on credit control activities and performance.
•Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
•Collaborate with sales and finance departments to manage credit risk
C) Head of Operations (15+ years’ experience)
•Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the company’s transport and logistics operations.
•Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry regulations.
•Manage and mentor senior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
•Collaborate with other departments to align logistics strategies with overall business goals.
•Ensure optimal utilization of the fleet, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety standards.
•Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
•Identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
