1. Service Monitoring Officer
Location: Lagos (Marina)
Salary: 122k Net
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
1. Carry out real-time monitoring of observability dashboards and notifications channels.
2. Carry out hourly platform experience summary analysis.
3. Engage second-level and first-level support on anomaly detection for resolution.
4. Prepare and submit weekly platform reliability experience to the team lead for detailed review for improvement recommendations.
5. Collaborate with other internal units or service desk teams for prompt reporting of service incidents and downtime.
6. Follow up with the application support team until resolution feedback is received.
7. Ensure smooth handshake and proper transitioning after on-call responsibility.
8. Ensure timely reporting of the monitoring dashboard and other service monitoring interfaces when downtime is noticed.
9. Maintain unbroken communication with the team lead on any development for immediate intervention.
FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
– Knowledge of Java, Python, GoLang or .net framework
– Unix\Linux experience and/or Windows server administration
– Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
– Knowledge of modern monitoring tools
– Investigation
– Knowledge of cloud technology – Azure
– First degree in Computer Science or a related field. Professional qualification in relevant or related discipline will also be an added advantage.
– Minimum of 1 year cognate experience
– Background in any Course is acceptable
– Completion of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC program is mandatory
– Passion for learning and a drive to excel in the banking sector
– Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills
