Job Description:
Shipco Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations (Logistics) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics with at least 5 years of proven experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including shipment planning, transportation, and delivery.
2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
3. Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure efficient logistics processes.
4. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
5. Handle import and export documentation and compliance.
6. Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff.
8. Resolve any issues related to shipments, deliveries, and logistics operations.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations.
2. Proven track record in managing logistics processes and operations.
3. Strong knowledge of import and export procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
